Q.What is the password to open downloaded e-Aadhaar?
The password is combination of first 4 letters of your name in CAPITAL letters followed by your year of birth (YYYY format). For example, if your name is Rahul Kumar and birth year is 1990, password will be RAHU1990.
Q.Can I download Aadhaar without registered mobile number?
No, you need access to your registered mobile number to receive OTP. If you don't have access, you need to visit nearest Aadhaar enrollment center to update your mobile number first.
Q.Is e-Aadhaar legally valid?
Yes, e-Aadhaar downloaded from UIDAI website is legally valid and accepted everywhere as proof of identity and address. It has same validity as physical Aadhaar card.
